Nakikiusap lang naman,” Bea Alonzo asks of the media regarding the rumored confrontation between ex-sweethearts Jake Cuenca and Roxanne Guinoo.
When the rumored confrontation between former sweethearts Jake Cuenca and Roxanne Guinoo became news, the name of Bea Alonzo was mentioned as the cause. The argument allegedly happened when ASAP ’08 had a show in Guam, U.S.A. (Click here to read to read related article.)
While Jake keeps mum about it and Roxanne denies the report, Bea insists that she knew nothing about it until they all returned to Manila.
Following the press conference for her Belo Essentials endorsement yesterday, October 30, at Steaktown Restaurant on Sgt. Esguerra, Quezon City, Bea openly talked to the media about the issue, even though there was an earlier reminder to the media not to ask personal questions.
The I Love Betty La Fea actress said, “Lagi ko naman sinasabi ‘yon, dapat hindi na dina-drag ang pangalan ko. Kasi as far as I’m concerned, wala naman akong alam doon sa nangyari sa kanila. Wala akong nakita, wala akong ginawa.
So, alam mo ‘yon, hindi naman siya nagiging frustration sa akin because I know the truth.”
For Bea, this issue should not bother her since she was not on the scene. However, she could not just stay away from it since people are always asking her about the rumored “bugbugan” issue.
She said, “Medyo nakaka-frustrate lang whenever people ask me about it because, siyempre, I feel bad na nadadawit ang pangalan ko.
As she did in previous interviews, Bea reiterated that her communication with Jake has lessened even before the show of ASAP ’08 in Guam. “Even before Guam kasi hindi na kami ganun kadalas mag-usap,” she said.
“NAAPEKTUHAN AKO.” Although Bea said she tries to ignore the rumors, she admitted to being affected whenever her name is dragged in issues she is not a part of.
The 21-year-old actress said, “Hindi naman ako ipokrita, siyempre naapektuhan ako, that really happens.
She also did not believe that the incident between Jake and Roxanne really happened. I have to be careful na minsan may mga bagay na iisipin mo, ‘Makakatulong ba ito sa pagkatao mo as of the moment or hindi?’ Parang, ‘Will it work out?'”
Did Bea think Jake and Roxanne were capable of a scene like this?
“I don’t know,” answered Bea. “I can’t really comment on that because I’m not in the position to comment on that or to say anything on that.
After hearing about the rumor, was she able to talk with either Jake or Roxanne?
She replied, “Hindi pa. Siyempre, parang if they wanna talk to me, I’m open. If they want to clear things with me, I’m open.
