Snooky Serna decides to have a tattoo at age 41

“Lalo namang di ko ginagawa yung alam kong I’ll be on the losing end.”

“At 41 [she’s turning 42 on April 4] nobody is telling me now what to do with my life. Wala na yung ‘ganito-ang-gawin-mo-huwag-yan’ na naging norm ng buhay ko, especially when I was younger, lalo na nung single pa ako.

“So when I saw this illustration of a geisha, I was overwhelmed with its beautiful details. Naisip ko na this is it. ‘Eto na yung pinakahihintay kong subject for my tattoo. Noon pa ako fascinated na magpa-tattoo, but I can’t find the design na talagang gustung-gusto ko,” kuwento ni Snooky.

Snooky Serna decides to have a tattoo at age 41“And it will take so many hours ng pagtitiis ng sakit!” natatawa si Snooky.

“I believe mas open ako ngayon as an artist. Kagaya nitong pagpapa-tattoo ko. So pati yung mga artworks ko, mas edgy, unlike when I was younger na realism yung genre ko.

And as far as her acting career is concerned, “Firstly, I’m very thankful to GMA network kasi they never get tired of giving me a chance, kahit may mga decisions ako in the past na palpak. Kaya naman, forever grateful ako sa kanila, and I promise, I’ll be very professional this time and beyond.”
